Georgia & Nathan

Custom design wedding invitation by Creative Box

I had to say I was a little bit excited when Georgia & Nathan told me their wedding style was ‘simple wildflower’ with lots of beautiful colour and sent me the most luscious pictures of bouquets they had in mind for their wedding. It was not only a blast sharing this special part of their planning, but painting up a floral storm to create this kind of little number was really up my alley.

Their custom design wedding invitations were 5×7″ size (178 x 120mm), printed on 300gsm white smooth card, and came enclosed in white envelopes along with a smaller information card for the extra guest details.

Logo design by Creative Box

Project: Logo design

Client: Sweet Avenue Cakes

I admit I did squeal when Kirsten said to me “I’d like you to redesign my logo”. She is not only a gorgeous friend but her cake baking skills are amazing. My husband and kids wait patiently (more like impatiently) after every wedding fair to see if Kirsten has given me the left overs – they aren’t left overs in the sense, they are perfect little morsels of heaven. ⠀
I’ve shared in Kirsten’s business journey the last few years and watched her grow and it’s been really exciting… so we were careful not to completely change her existing logo, but carefully update it so it looked fresh and modern. To ensure the essence remained we kept the same colours and fonts to maintain the familiarity her beloved customers knew and recognised. This is really important for your brand awareness x

Business card design by Creative Box

Project: Business cards

Client: Sweet Avenue Cakes

We took Kirsten’s new Sweet Avenue Cakes logo and created these delicious new business cards. Designed to compliment her new updated business look and her amazing skills with the whisk… in fact I’ve discovered Kirsten’s an all round natural in the kitchen and have recently pinched a couple of handy recipes off her.

Wedding celebrant logo design by Creative Box

Project: Logo design

Client: Hitched by Holly

When an absolute gem of a human asks you to design their logo for their new wedding celebrant gig… this kind of magic happens.
Our client Holly Gower-Rudman has a beautiful relaxed and natural vibe about her, with a very infectious humour and smile ( you should see the funny emails I’ve received! ), so of course being a wedding celebrant it was really important her personality was reflected in her logo and future branding.
Holly’s homework was gathering her favourite looks, and after viewing it, it was apparent her favourite colours were soft shades of green with hints of drawn leaves and flowers mixed with modern clean fonts. We used these ideas to develop a very clean and organic looking logo for Holly, and decided to go brave with the use of a deep green colour. The “H” icon has become a handy sub logo and profile image for Hitched by Holly’s social media presence also.

We were all kind of excited when we discovered the sculptured beauties and tones of the Succulent Garden at the Hamilton Gardens. The spot would be the most fitting backdrop to capture our free-spirited souls embracing love and adventure. The drinks buffet table and wedding elements in rich earthy tones, apricots and pinks with pairings of gold and lace accentuated the light dancing location and mood.

The dreamy location set the tone for these invitations. Printed on vellum and pinned to a coral watercolour washed printed card, these wedding invitations are 5×7″ size (123 x 178mm), and come with a plain rectangular flap white envelope. We offer the option to add the coral watercolour wash envelope liner, silk ribbon, reply card, details card and more. A full range of stationery to match is on offer, you can see some of the pieces here

Project: Logo, brochure and business card design

Client: Alare – Hannah Porter, Wedding Planner & Marriage Celebrant

Our friend Hannah Porter has been running an exciting wedding planning business called Alare for many years now, but has recently added ‘marriage celebrant’ to one of her many skills she can offer to couples. I’ve read some of the vows she has written, and I just love how well written they are, they are light hearted and really capture the essence of the couple she is talking about. Because of this we wanted her brochures and business cards to really reflect her honest and lovely approach, and felt adding photos would show this off nicely, whilst still maintaining the look and colours of Alare people have become to recognise.
