BRANDING & WEBSITE DESIGN PROCESS
At Creative Box I like to make the process really simple and easy, as I understand how busy life can get as a business owner. Below is the design process so you have a feel of what to expect when we work together on your branding or website package.
The Branding Design Process
One
After the initial 20 minute discovery call, we can meet at our studio or chat over Google Meet to discuss what you need for your business in terms of branding. Here, I dive deep into your business, values, target market, what you want for your brand, what you love and don't. I ask a lot of questions - but I'm not just curious, I want to make sure I really know what you need and want.
Two
At this point I get you to create a secret Pinterest board to build a mood board of images you like. I will also do a bit research about your industry and market. Once this all done we will complete our discussion for your branding so I have a concrete idea in mind.
Three
A finalised quote will be sent and your 70% payment will be due here.
Four
The fun part starts here. I will go away and brainstorm what we have discussed. And then begin on the mood board, followed by the first proof of your logo / brand concept. This proof will include the concept with several variations to choose from.
Five
From here I refine your choice and continue with any extra add ons that your package includes.
Six
Once all your artwork is approved. The final 30% of your payment owing is due. And then I can release all your files to you, or get anything requiring printing off to print.

To ensure your project stays on track and within the given timeframe. Dates will be agreed upon for when you as the client will receive your proofs, and approval / amendments must be returned in a timely manner.
You'll be ready to launch your new brand!
The Website Design Process
One
After the initial 20 minute discovery call, we can meet at our studio or chat over Google Meet to discuss how I can create a website for you and what you need. I ask a lot of questions - but this is to get a really good understanding of what the website needs to do for your business, who will the customers be, what your business is about and the product and or service you are selling.
We also discuss things like what your customers might search to find you online, your competitors and the market, any specific features or add ons you require, and how you will like your website to look and function.
Two
At this point I will draw up a pretty big sized proposal for you based on all of the above, plus our ideas for how I can plan out your website. I also include not only the design cost, but what you will expect for your hosting, domain name and email costs so there are no hidden surprises. Once approved your 70% payment will be due here.
Three
At this point you'll need to gather together your content and photographs. I know some amazing content writers and photographers so I can help you with this. Once I have received your content and photographs I will begin on the first proof of your website based on our discussions. This proof is generally the homepage layout to give you an overall idea of how the website will look, and will include all the colours and fonts used.
Four
From here I will continue with the extra pages of your website ( if required ), and do any refinements. This may include beginning the setup of your ecommerce shop too if this is included in your package.
Five
Once all your website is approved. The final 30% of your payment owing is due. This is where we can release the login to your website, and also help you set up the domain name, hosting and any email addresses.
Every package also includes help with setting up Google Analytics which is handy for seeing where your customers are finding you, plus your My Google Business page.
