We meet at our studio, over the phone or via zoom and chat about how we can create a website for you and what you need. We ask a lot of questions - but this is to get a really good understanding of what the website needs to do for your business, who will the customers be, what your business is about and the product and or service you are selling.
We also discuss things like what your customers might search to find you online, your competitors & the market, any specific features or add ons you require, and how you will like your website to look and function.
At this point we will draw up a pretty big sized proposal for based on all of the above with what we have discussed, plus our ideas for how we can plan out your website. We also include not only the design cost, but what you will expect for your hosting & domain name costs so there are no hidden costs. Once approved your 50% payment will be due here.
Once we have received your content & photos ( if required ) we will begin on the first proof of your website based on our discussions. This proof is generally the homepage layout only to give you an overall idea of how the website will look, and will include all the colours and fonts used.
From here we will continue with the extra pages of your website ( if required ), and do any refinements. This may include beginning the setup of your ecommerce shop too if this is included in your package.
Once all your website is approved. The final 50% of your payment owing is due. This is where we can release the login to your website, and also help you set up the domain name, hosting and any email addresses. Every package also includes our help with setting up Google Analytics which is handy for seeing where your customers are finding you.
