A tasty rebrand for Brad at ROAM.
I met Brad a couple of years ago when he started ROAM, offering his grazing box & private chef experiences. His brief then for his brand was epically creative and fun, with a hand-drawn font, fish, a piece of cheese, and a carrot.
Late last year, Brad got in touch to tell me he was expanding and opening a cafe (to tell the truth, I was not surprised, he is amazing!)
Again, the brief was pretty exciting! The cafe was opening in one of the iconic six sister buildings along Marine Parade in Napier. And as a nod to the heritage, we would recreate the fun vibe of the original ROAM logo but use the building as the main image.
We tweaked the original logo to fit across the expanding services, retained the original font, added a fresh new colour palette, some extra elements like the gherkin for cheeky character 😉, and added to the growing collection of foodie illustrations used across the website, paper tissue, etc.
Plus, the talented Suzy from S G Editorials worked her magic photographing the cafe, team, and delicious food.
We then got to work our magic on Brad's updated ROAM website with online shop on the Rocketspark website platform, implementing improvements that made a difference quickly:
