Another month has rolled by here, and it's been another exciting month of more websites going live... and with much success (yay!).
Lots of magic is done in the website build... but... sometimes other marketing efforts are needed to give our website a little helping hand. Especially more so if you are new to the industry, have rebranded, or are experiencing a quiet period and need to ramp up leads.
I've popped through my favourite 5 key marketing efforts to drive traffic to your website and create an all-round marketing plan:
1. Social Media That Actually Converts
Not just pretty pictures but sharing valuable tips, behind-the-scenes content, and client wins that make people think "I need to check out their website." Every post should have a purpose - entertain, educate, or inspire action.
2. Email Marketing That People Cant Wait To Open
Send newsletters with genuine value - industry insights, exclusive tips, or special offers. Make your emails so useful that people look forward to them instead of hitting delete or the dreaded unsubscribe.
3. Strategic Networking (Online & Offline)
Join industry groups, attend local business events, participate in online forums. Be helpful first, salesy second. When you're known as the expert who actually helps, people naturally want to learn more.
4. Referral Programs That Work or Good Ol' Word Of Mouth
Turn your happy clients into your marketing team! You could even create a simple system that rewards referrals - whether it's discounts or gift cards ( you get the idea! ).
5. Partnerships & Collaborations
Partner with complementary businesses, guest post on relevant blogs, or collaborate on projects. Tap into other people's audiences who already trust them.
