ORDERING WEDDING STATIONERY

Congratulations on your engagement!
We’ve popped below a detailed summary of the ordering process so you can see how it will work. Because you don’t get married every day, we guide you through each step of the way, and answer any hairy questions you might have… we are here to help, work with you through the process and create something lovely that you will cherish always.
Ordering from the collection:
Firstly, you choose your favourite invitation design from the “collection”.
If you wish to order a sample pack you can do, though this will incur a small fee of $15.
If you live locally in Te Awamutu, New Zealand we can meet to discuss your requirements. No problem if you live elsewhere, as we can do it all via email or phone, as this works perfectly fine. Firstly, we will begin chatting and work together to plan out your stationery that suits you, your style and budget.
If you would like to go ahead with us, we will require a 50% deposit before work begins. This is non-refundable, but will be deducted from the final balance. Once this is received, we will proceed to design your invitation based on our conversations.
We will firstly send you a draft with up to 3 design options. If any alterations are required we will offer a further 3 sets of complimentary proofs. Extra proofs beyond the complimentary ones may be charged an extra fee. From here, we will begin coordinating all your other stationery with your invitation.
It is your responsibility to proof read very carefully. Once you have given us the final approval of your digital proofs, we can send you a printed proof of your invitation, which must be approved too. Please note this is an additional $15 fee (this is optional but highly recommended). Please allow a week for this. The final balance owing is then required to be paid, and must be made prior to going to print.
Expect 2 – 6 weeks for us to complete your wedding invitations.
Wedding stationery for the day:
Closer to your wedding day, we can begin on stationery such as your place cards, menus and seating plans. These can even be designed to match your invitations, which makes everything nice and co-ordinated. We need about 3 weeks to complete these and courier out to you in time for your wedding.
Thank You Cards:
Thank you cards are a lovely thoughtful way to thank your guests for their love, support and most likely their gifts. After your wedding (and perhaps after you have received your wedding photos as we can include one on your cards) we can create these for you so you can post out. These typically take about 2 weeks and proper etiquette says you should send these out 6 weeks after your wedding date.
Prices: All prices are in New Zealand dollars and are inclusive of GST.
Paper Stock: All invitations are printed on plain 300gsm card stock, unless stated on the quote.
Colours: Please note, colours on the screen may differ from printed versions, and may vary slightly between samples and orders.
Envelopes: All invitations come with a plain white envelope, unless stated on the quote.
Guest Names: There is a set up fee of $50 to print guest names on your invitations.
Time Frame: Please allow 2 – 6 weeks to complete your wedding invitations. For custom designs please allow 3 – 8 weeks.
Delivery: Delivery for the completed invitations will be via courier within New Zealand. Delivery costs are additional and will be added to your invoice. Collection from the studio can be organised by arrangement only.
Rush Fee: Please note if you require any of your wedding stationery within 5 working days of approval of printed proof a 15% rush fee will be charged.
Cancellations: We begin work as soon as the deposit is received. Please note if you choose to cancel your order following this, the 50% deposit is non refundable.
Printing Errors: Creative Box takes no responsibility for spelling errors after final sign off proofs. We strongly recommend thoroughly checking all the wording and spelling, including all guest names. It is a good idea to get a second person to proof read as well.
Refunds: Creative Box will thoroughly check your stationery to ensure there are no errors before dispatch. If you’re not happy with anything about your order with us, we want to make it right! Drop us a note within a week of getting your Creative Box goods letting us know and we will be glad to help you figure out a solution. Any errors made by Creative Box will be rectified at our expense.

Can I change the colour on the collection designs? Yes, all the colours, fonts and wording can be changed to suit. We can also change the size or style of the invitation to suit your needs.
Do you do custom designs? Currently, we are not taking on customised design orders.
How many postage stamps will I need? All our invitations are sized so that you only require 1x NZ Post stamp on the envelope.
Can we get coloured envelopes? Yes, we can order in coloured and metallic envelopes for you.
I’d rather have an ivory or textured card, do you offer these?Yes, we can print your invitations on a range of different coloured and textured cards.
Do you do foiling or letterpress? Yes, we do offer both of these. Please feel free to enquire.
What are you prices? They vary depending on the size, style and quantity but you can see the price list here
Can I order less than 50? Yes of course, please feel free to contact me below and we can chat more.
Can I see a sample in my preferred colour before ordering? We offer $15 samples of invitations, and we are happy to re-colour them on your chosen colour.
